We are writing an international book on how intuition unfolds in children and what it reveals about the nature of consciousness. Through case studies and multi-method research, including brain imaging and physiological measures, we bring modern science to an aspect of human experience that has rarely been studied in depth.
Some children seem to simply know. They sense things before they are told, or arrive at answers without working them out. Parents notice it. Teachers notice it. Yet science has barely begun to explain it.
This book places children’s lived experiences alongside careful scientific study, so that personal stories and measured observations can shed light on each other. A single family’s account can open a question no laboratory would have thought to ask.
