Science Communication and Public Engagement Strategist
Lakshmi Ganesan holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology and completed postdoctoral work in cell biology, with research stints at the Diabetes Research Institute in Miami and the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Her work has since centred on bridging rigorous science and the people it serves. At IndiaBioscience, she led national initiatives in science communication, public engagement and science policy, connecting researchers with the wider public. She now advises and collaborates with SSIAR on developing evidence-led communication strategies and interactive research information systems.
